This painting was submitted to Duck Feet Digest by my lifelong friend, Ne'. Ne' is a physician, waterman, horseman, boat mechanic, thinker, amateur botanist, and painter. All the stuff I can't do, he can. Ne' included the following comment regarding this painting, "When I see a guy or gal with a pair of duck feet looking over the ocean I know they are the real deal because they are going IN the ocean. Not ON the ocean or over the ocean, but 100% committed to deal with whatever comes their way. Wave, currents, creatures. I have never seen anybody use duck feet that didn't know what they were about in blue water. I use them for scuba and other divers can't believe it. But I point out to them that all the really fast, powerful gamefish like tuna and wahoo have these very short but very stiff tails that maximize energy transfer. These long flowing four foot ballet fins so popular today just give you more drag and are like a mismatched bike gear. I'll take a pair of duck feet in a rip or strong current any day!"
Thank you Ne' for your submission and for our quality friendship.
